Woman Sentenced In "Operation Broken Badge"

 San Luis Obispo -- A Los Angeles woman was sentenced Monday to a year in jail for attempting to bring drugs into the California Men’s Colony. Guadalupe Ruiz pleaded not guilty in November, but had admitted to investigators that she had been concealing drugs. Ruiz is only one of 21 people arrested in connect to Operation Broken Badge, a drug sting that showed that CMC employees were allegedly involved in a drug smuggling operation.
