Posted: Thursday, 13 November 2008 7:39AM Winners Declared in Mayoral Races in Paso Robles and Morro Bay It was a close race for Mayor in Paso Robles and Morro Bay this year… and now more than a week after Election Day and thousands of ballots later, winners have been declared! Duane Picano will be the new mayor of Paso Robles, and incumbent Janice Peters has been elected for another two year term as the Mayor of Morro Bay. Each candidate won by just about 50 votes. The Tribune says that there are still a few ballots to be counted, but they likely won’t affect the outcome of the two mayoral elections.
