Update: Firefighter Who Died During Training Identified

San Luis Obispo, CA -- An inmate firefighter who died while taking part in a County/Cal Fire training program at Camp San Luis Obispo on Wednesday has been identified as Crisanto Leo Lionell.

Lionell, 54, is presumed to have died of natural causes, according to a news release from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. An autopsy is scheduled for next Wednesday.
