San Luis Obispo, CA -- Vandenberg Air Force Base is getting ready to launch an unarmed operational test from the base tomorrow. Base officials said yesterday that the unarmed Minuteman III is scheduled to launch from the base between 3:01 and 9:01 tomorrow morning. It's expected to reach its target near the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It will travel about 4,200 miles to its target.
