Two young men have been arrested in an unusual case of grand theft. 18 year old Galen Smith and 19 year old Ryan Clifton, both from Templeton, admittedly stole three bollards from the parking lot of the Ravine Water Park on the 2300 block of Airport Road. Officers talked to workers at the local recycling center, Macoy Resource Corporation, and found out that the stolen posts had been turned in for cash. The bollards were valued at $350. Smith and Clifton have been arrested for grand theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy, all felony charges. They were booked at the Paso Robles Police Department. |
