Two Fires in Paso Robles and Lake Nacimiento

Paso Robles, CA -- A brush fire in rural Paso Robles that broke out at 3:45 yesterday afternoon was contained at 25 acres. The flames were in the area of Geneseo Road and Ground Squirrel Hollow.

And fire crews have contained a small vegetation fire near Lake Nacimiento to one acre. The fire started just after 9 o’clock yesterday morning in Running Deer Ranch. CAL FIRE says it was sparked by downed power lines. The flames charred grass and oak woodlands. A full wild land response was dispatched, which included tankers, an air attack, dozers, fire crews, and fire engines.
