Two Drug Dealers Arrested in Isla Vista After a month long investigation, two men were arrested for selling drugs in Isla Vista. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics and Gang Units served a search warrant on Thursday evening in the 6500 block of Cordoba Road. Detectives found over 1,500 ecstasy pills, 3 ounces of cocaine and more than $7,000 in cash. The street value of the drugs is an estimated $8,000. 23 year old Joseph DeJesus and 22 year old David Reed were arrested for possession of drugs for sale. DeJesus is believed to be from Northern California, but makes the trip down to Isla Vista during the weekends to sell drugs.
