San Luis Obispo, CA -- Two people were arrested Friday night after San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Deputies received reports that a woman was firing a flare gun without any ammunition at Mr. Rick's in Avila Beach. Deputies arrested Kerry Jay Johnson, 44, of Boulder Creek, CA on suspicion of threatening a public official. A 25-year-old woman from Aptos was arrested on suspicion of displaying a firearm in a threatening manner. Both were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail and subsequently released.
