Trial Begins in the Case Against a Transplant Surgeon

Opening statements have begun in the first case of its kind to be brought against a transplant surgeon in the U-S.. Doctor Hootan Roozrokh is accused of speeding up the death of his patient, Ruben Navarro, so that his organs could be harvested. Navarro was at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center when he died at age 26. Roozrokh has pleaded not guilty, but if convicted he could spend four years in prison.
