Posted: Wednesday, 18 June 2008 6:48AM Traffic Collision Kills An Atascadero Man An Atascadero man is dead after being hit by a truck. The crash happened at 1:15 Tuesday afternoon on the 101 north of Clark Avenue in Santa Maria. The CHP says the victim was on the shoulder. Authorities say he was trying to pick up his motorcycle when a truck drifted over and hit the man from behind. The identity of the victim has not been released.
