Posted: Tuesday, 02 September 2008 9:18AM Three Arrested During DUI Checkpoint Three alleged drunk drivers were pulled off the road during the DUI checkpoint in San Luis Obispo on Friday. Almost 300 cars went through the checkpoint at Casa Street and Foothill from 10:10pm until 2am. 18 year old Derek McPherson, 27 year old Carleen Helbert and 20 year old Tara Broms were arrested for driving under the influence and booked into County Jail.
