Los Osos, CA -- A portion of Los Osos Valley Road was closed yesterday afternoon, as crews worked to restore a power pole that was hit by a suspected drunk driver overnight. Just before 2 o’clock early yesterday morning, 26-year-old Kelsey Leatherbury was headed south on LOVR when she made an erratic turn near Prefumo Canyon Road, hit a curb and then crashed into the power pole. She was taken to a local hospital, and officers say charges are pending. The signal at LOVR and Laguna Lane was disconnected for a few hours for repairs.
