San Luis Obispo, CA -- The CHP says the driver who crashed near the San Luis Obispo Airport causing a small brush fire had been drinking. It happened late Sunday night on Hoover Lane at Buckley Road. The driver, whose identity hasn’t been released, lost control of his car, drove through a fence and went down an embankment. The crash sparked a small blaze which Cal Fire quickly put out. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
