Pismo Beach, CA -- 24-year-old Darney Romero of San Fernando and 33-year-old Armond Abramian of Glendale were arrested yesterday, in connection with a string of burglaries of C.V.S. stores. Police witnessed the couple’s final burglary at the C.V.S. on Oak Park blvd in Pismo Beach.

Officers say they witnessed Abramian use a crow bar to get inside the store and leave with a storage container half filled with cigarettes. When the officers confronted the pair, Romero, the getaway driver, tried to get away. But she was arrested and booked a short time later.

Abramian escaped, but was taken into custody yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Kansas and Highway One, which is the same intersection where the Sheriff’s Department is located.
