Slow for the Cone Zone and Stop for the School Bus
|
|
We always tell you to slow for the cone zone, but now that school is back session, the California Highway Patrol wants to remind drivers to stop for the red flashing lights. When there is a school bus with red, flashing lights, remember to stop!! Unless there is a median, drivers on both sides of the road must stop. Any driver that fails to do so faces a fine of $678. Now that school has started, local police departments and the CHP have their officers patrolling school bus routes heavily, so remember to stop for the red lights on the school bus. |
