Posted: Tuesday, 26 August 2008 8:46AM Sierra Club Investigates the Deaths at the Dunes The Santa Lucia Chapter of the Sierra Club is searching for answers. The organization just filed a Public Records Act request to determine if Parks and Recreation is allowing more vehicles onto the Oceano Dunes than it should. The request asks for documents relating to enforcing vehicle limits. Four people have died so far this year at the Oceano Dunes. State Parks has until August 29th to respond to the Sierra Club’s request.
