Posted: Friday, 26 September 2008 9:33AM Shell Beach Man Arrested for Burglary Police caught a man in the act of allegedly burglarizing someone’s home in Pismo Beach. Police were sent to a house on the 2500 block of Solano Road just before 4 o’clock yesterday morning. The resident woke up when the burglar turned on a light in the bedroom. The resident then chased the suspect out of the house and that’s when police found him a block away from the home and arrested 35 year old Richard Loots. No property was found missing, but the Shell Beach man would not say why he was in the house. Loots was still booked on burglary charges and is currently in the San Luis Obispo County Jail being held at $50,000 bail.
