Several Cuesta Students Busted for Selling Drugs

Police confiscated thousands of dollars in drugs and arrested four suspected dealers in San Luis Obispo. During the past two months, the Narcotics Detectives of the SLO Police Department have been investigating a marijuana and cocaine sales ring involving several Cuesta College students. Police were able to obtain search warrants for three homes and four cars. The Narcotics Task Force pulled over 21 year old Trent Edward Meyer on Highway 46 and searched his car. They found more than 2 pounds of cocaine and over one pound of weed. Meyer was taken into custody. Officer’s then searched his house on the 3200 block of Rockview and seized a half-pound of marijuana and 60 plants. Meyer’s roommate, 20 year old Justin Matthew Bean, was also taken into custody. Officers also searched the home of 18 year old Parker Hayden Leen on Sacramento Street and seized an ounce of cocaine. 19 year old David Grant Hudson was also arrested when police found almost a pound of marijuana at his apartment on the 1200 block of Stafford Street. All the drugs that were confiscated have an estimated street value of $95,000.
