Set Off Fireworks in the Wrong Place and Pay the Price
|
Fireworks are banned in San Luis Obispo. If you are caught using them, you will be cited and have to pay a fine of $2,000. You can buy and use "Safe and Sane' fireworks in San Miguel, Templeton, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach and Oceano.
Or, better yet, go to a public display at any of the places below.
- Pismo Beach, by the pier at 9pm
- Morro Bay at the south end of the Embarcadero at 9pm
- Cayucos by the pier at 9pm
- Cambria's Shamel Park at dusk
- Santa Maria Fairgrounds at 8:45
- Paso Robles Barney Schwartz Park
- Maridian Winery Vineyards
This list has been provided to you by the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department. |
