San Luis Obispo County Schools Get a "Gold Star"

Students and teachers in San Luis Obispo County made school administrators really proud this year. According to The Tribune, SLO County Schools performed so well in standardized testing that the scores surpassed the growth targets put in place by the state. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O’Connell released the California ‘07-‘08 accountability progress report on Thursday. Bellevue-Santa Fe Charter School and Teach Elementary had the best two scores in the county. Schools throughout the state overall saw an improvement.
