Posted: Tuesday, 23 September 2008 8:39AM SLO County Regional Airport Awarded Federal Grant Congresswoman Lois Capps has announced that a federal grant has been awarded to fund a project at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport. The $1.9 million dollar award will pay for the second phase of the new access road which will allow for more people to use the airport safely. The county also received almost $3 million in June to help finance roadway improvements.
