San Luis Obispo, CA -- San Luis Obispo County beaches posted good scores in the end-of-summer water quality test performed by Heal the Bay. The Santa Monica based environmental group gave 95 percent of the county beaches scored A’s and B’s. The one beach that received an F was Pismo Beach. City officials have had an on going problem with pigeons roosting under the pier and causing bacterial contamination in the water.
