San Luis Obispo, CA -- There is a new age of Aquarius in space. A Delta-2 rocket carrying the Aquarius satellite blasted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base this morning at 7:20. The Aquarius satellite will study salt levels in the Earth's oceans in an attempt to predict future climate conditions all around the world. The mission is a joint venture of NASA and the space agency of Argentina. The Aquarius launch had to be pushed back by a day because of some technical problems with the rocket that sent it into space.
