The $7 million project to improve curbs, sidewalks and driveways on Highway 227 is underway. Crews will be working on Broad Street from the SLO Creek Bridge to Santa Barbara Street each weekday from midnight until 3:30 in the afternoon. All lanes will be open between 3:30 to 6:00 for the afternoon commute. The South Street re-paving project goes from Santa Barbara to Beebee Streets and will have one lane closed in each direction. The project is set for completion in Fall of 2009.
