Riot Breaks Out at Men's Colony

Chaos at the Colony. Last week, two groups of Hispanic inmates got into a fight at the California Men’s Colony. No weapons were involved, although two prisoners were injured and taken to Sierra Vista for treatment. According to The Tribune, the fight didn’t last long. Guards used pepper spray to gain control of the situation and ordered a lockdown. All of the inmates involved in the riot may be transferred to a different prison. That incident was the first riot in a year and a half. |
