Rideshare Week Considered a Success

More than 700 San Luis Obispo County residents decided to make a difference by taking the bus, biking, carpooling or walking to work last week. October 20th through the 24th was Rideshare Week. Over just a few days, it is estimated that the community members who participated saved more than $2,000 on gas and more than 18,000 “drive alone” miles as a group.
