The City of Paso Robles is one step closer to giving the final go-ahead for the state re-entry prison. The 500 inmate facility would be on Airport Road behind the old boy’s school which has plans set to be made into a state prison. According to The Tribune, the city, the state and three counties have to come to an agreement on prison operations within 180 days and a memorandum of understanding needs to be in place within 5 months. If this doesn’t happen within deadline, the council’s support will be voided. The re-entry facility is designed to help make an easier transition from prison life into the working world. |
