San Luis Obispo, CA -- 48-year-old Morgan Rafferty, a former nonprofit group administrator from Arroyo Grande, has been sentenced to six months in jail and three years of probation for embezzling 31-thousand dollars from Mothers for Peace and 31-thousand dollars from ECO-SLO.

Rafferty had earlier pleaded no contest to two felony counts of grand theft. The crimes took place between 2007 and 2009. It still has to be decided on how much restitution Rafferty must pay.
