The man who crawled through a window and into a home in Oceano then tried to sexually assault the woman inside is still on the loose. It was just about 4 o’clock Tuesday morning when the woman woke up to a man in her house. The suspect grabbed the woman’s neck and told her not to say anything. He tried to sexually assault her, but the woman fought back. After a short struggle, the suspect grabbed the woman’s purse and ran for it. Police are searching for the prowler and are reminding everyone to lock their windows and doors before going to bed.
