Police Looking for Driver of Hit and Run Collision Involving a Pedestrian
Police are on the looking for the driver of a black Honda that hit a pedestrian and then fled the scene. Just after 8:30 last night, 19 year old Erik Espinoza of Watsonville was crossing the street at the intersection of Palm and Santa Rosa when he was struck. Witnesses say that the driver of the little black car was speeding through the area and turned onto Mill after he hit Espinoza. The force of the collision threw Espinoza into the air and onto the sidewalk. He was transported to Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment.
