Posted: Friday, 12 September 2008 8:26AM Police Break Up Meth Operation After a three month long investigation, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit cracked down on a major meth operation in Nipomo. 48 year old Efrian Garcia has been arrested for heading the operation. Federal ICE investigators along with the local Narcotics Unit confiscated eleven pounds of narcotics worth about $1.9 million. Garcia now faces three drug related charges, as well as conspiracy.
