San Luis Obispo, CA -- A San Luis Obispo man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into cars. According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, they received a call just before 10 p.m. from someone saying a man was breaking into a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle confronted the man and neighbors helped to detain him until the police arrived.The suspect was identified as 56-year-old David Boyer. Boyer allegedly had other stolen property with him at the time of his arrest. He was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of stolen property and theft of personal property. He was booked into County Jail. Bail has been set at $20,000.
