Posted: Friday, 10 October 2008 8:06AM Planning Commission Looks at Santa Margarita Project A heavily debated project has been shot down by the County Planning Commission. The Santa Margarita Ranch project conflicts with many land-use laws in San Luis Obispo County and was voted down 4-1. According to The Tribune, Commissioners against the project were concerned about the agricultural design and its effect on the environment. Santa Margarita LLC has two weeks to appeal.
