Posted: Monday, 04 August 2008 12:26PM Person Responsible for Head-On Collision Is Behind Bars Police have arrested the man responsible for causing a head-on collision near GroverBeach. 22 year old Edgar Vasquez-Castillo of San Francisco was driving on Highway 1 Saturday night when he started driving towards on-coming traffic to pass the cars in front of him. According to the Tribune, 32 year old Craig Schwisow did not have enough time to respond, and ended up colliding with Castillo. He broke his toe, and his passenger 32 year old Kristi Schwisow suffered from neck and knee injuries. Castillo ran from the scene, but soon after was found hiding in the bushes. He was arrested for hit-and-run and driving under the influence.
