San Luis Obispo, CA -- A Paso Robles man has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and vehicle theft. Tuesday night San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's deputies got a call about a man who allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the lip. The man, identified as 30-year-old Jonathan Allen Elster, then fled in a truck stolen from a neighbor on Geneseo Road. Elster returned to the property Wednesday morning at about 10:40. Deputies were called to the scene and arrested Elster after a brief foot pursuit. He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of domestic violence and auto theft.
