Posted: Thursday, 24 July 2008 8:07AM Paso Named Host City for Amgen Tour of California Paso Robles will host Amgen next year. San Luis has been bypassed. The 2009 Amgen Tour of California cycling stage race will have a longer route and will see more of the state. Amgen will feature nine stages starting in Sacramento and ending inEscondido. Paso will be the finish for stage six on February 12th. Amgen will not be coming down Highway 1 for the first time.
