Paso Man to be Sentenced for an Alcohol Related Collision
The Paso Robles man who caused a crash that killed one and badly injured a CHP Officer will be sentenced today. In December, 20 year old Jeremy White rammed into CHP Officer Anthony Pedeferri’s patrol car during a routine traffic stop on Highway 101 just north of Ventura. The crash killed the driver of the stopped car, Andreas Parra. Officer Pedeferri is now paralyzed from the chest down. White has pleaded guilty to gross vehicular manslaughter and causing injury while driving under the influence. White could be sentenced up to 16 years in prison.
