Posted: Friday, 13 June 2008 12:07PM One Dollar, One Day 81-thousand dollars and counting… The San Luis Obispo County Food Bank Coalition held their “One Dollar, One Day” fundraiser on Tuesday and they are still receiving donations. Last year’s fundraiser brought in $120,000, helping feed 30,000 county residents. This year, the Food Bank is expecting to meet that, if not exceed it. The $81,000 they have counted so far does not include donation boxes or money that has been mailed in. The final dollar amount is expected to be announced next week.
