Posted: Thursday, 11 September 2008 7:51AM Numerous Local Men Busted By Federal Government An Oceano man is one of 20 people who are now facing drug trafficking charges. According to The Tribune, the federal government conducted a lengthy investigation on a drug trafficking ring in Santa Maria. 50 year old Christoval Pena of Oceano now faces up to 10 years in prison for transporting meth. 13 of the people involved face federal charges. The other seven face drug related charges. Among them is 32 year old Fernando Medina of Nipomo. Four suspects from Santa Maria are still on the loose.
