No Cause Determined Yet In Restaurant Fire

 San Luis Obispo -- Fire officials are looking into what caused a fire that destroyed the Cabo San Luis Restaurant and a neighboring architectural supply store on Foothill Blvd. in San Luis Obispo early yesterday morning. Several other nearby businesses were damaged by the fire, including Kona’s Sandwich Shop and Rock N’ Roll hair salon.
Firefighters were called to the scene a little after four. Cabo San Luis was heavily engulfed in flames. The fire was put out in about an hour. Foothill from Santa Rosa to Chorro was closed to traffic for several hours.
The owner of the popular restaurant said he plans to rebuild, but it may not be the same location. At least 17 employees lost their jobs. Nobody was injured. Damage is estimated to be one million dollars.
