New Community Development Director Named In Pismo Beach

 Pismo Beach, CA -- Pismo Beach has hired a community development director with a long history of working in coastal communities. Jon Biggs will come to Pismo Beach from Alameda, where he has worked since November 2007 as a planning services manager in the city’s Community Development Department. Before that, he worked for Pacific Grove for 17 years, including five years as the city’s community development director.
Biggs replaces Randy Bloom, who retired in April after more than 10 years with the city. In Pismo Beach, Biggs will manage the planning, building, recreation and parking divisions.
