Mother of Infant Killed in Car Crash



 21-year-old Ashleigh Vermillion was killed and several others were injured after a head-on collision on Highway 41 Sunday. According to the CHP, the accident occurred when 19-year-old Masson Blow was driving too fast between Cholame and the Kern County line. Blow lost control of his car and collided with the vehicle Vermillion was driving. When the CHP arrived, they found both cars off the roadway. The two passengers in Vermillion’s car experienced major injuries, 1-month-old Jenna Vermillion was airlifted to Twin Cities Hospital in Atascadero, and 30-year-old David Treen was flown to a Fresno Hospital. Blow was taken to Twin Cities Hospital with minor injuries. No arrests have been made in connection with the accident.
