San Luis Obispo, CA -- After an eight month deployment in Afghanistan, Marine Lance Cpl. Shane Louk was welcomed home last night at the San Luis Obispo County airport with hugs, kisses, handshakes and applause from his wife, friends, family and local military groups. Louk and his wife plan to spend time with friends and family before returning to his station in Hawaii. Shane is scheduled for another deployment in about 11 months.
