The owner of a Morro Bay pot shop was found guilty in federal court yesterday. After a week and a half long trial in LA, Charles Lynch now faces a minimum of five years in prison for five counts of distributing marijuana. Lynch’s medicinal marijuana dispensary was raided in March last year by state and federal officials. The Arroyo Grande man was charged with distributing marijuana and selling it to people under the age of 21. California law allows the legal sale of pot for medicinal purposes, but federal law does not.
