Man Test-Driving Car Dies in Local Hospital

San Luis Obispo, CA -- A man who was test-driving a car when it crashed in San Luis Obispo last week died Tuesday night at a local hospital. 47-year-old Hussan Dajani died from the injuries he suffered in the September 20 crash on Buckley Road near San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport. Charges hadn't been filed yet against the San Luis Obispo resident because the CHP was still gathering evidence at the time of his death. Dajani had answered a Craigslist ad listed by the Nadalsky family to sell their 2003 Lexus. The crash killed 53-year-old Dan Nadalsky, the only passenger in the car during the test-drive.

Reportedly, Dajani took a left curve on Buckley Road at 70 mph when signs there caution drivers to go 30 mph at the curve. The Lexus crashed into a Toyota Tacoma driven by 51-year-old Alan Evenson of Arroyo Grande. Evenson had a broken leg and was later released from Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
