The Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was struck by a train in Oceano. It was just after twelve o’clock yesterday afternoon when the unidentified man was killed near 2nd Street and River Avenue. They found identification on him, however investigators are still trying to match that information with his remains. There aren’t any witnesses in the case, however investigators believe that they soon will be able to determine why the man was on the tracks in the first place. His name will not be released until his family can positively identify the body. Northbound passenger train service was disrupted for a half hour.
