Posted: Monday, 08 September 2008 9:45AM Man Chased Down and Arrested After He Threatens to Kill a Woman After a short vehicle pursuit, police arrested a man for threatening to kill a woman. A woman called 911 saying that she was hiding in a yard from a man who was allegedly trying to kill her. When police went to the 2000 block of Arriba Place in Arroyo Grande, they saw the suspect, 32 year old Ramon David Maldanado. Police tried to pull him over, but Maldanado sped off, then abandoned his car and ran into the front yard of a home on Tag Court. After further investigation, Deputies determined that Maldanado had earlier assaulted the victim and threatened to kill her if she tried to leave. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for abuse, criminal threats, failure to yield to a Peace Officer, driving without a license and violating his parole.
