Some construction workers in Oceano had a bit of an eerie moment at work Wednesday. Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man who has been reportedly pointing a gun at the workers from a backyard on the 1200 block of Belridge around 10:30 in the morning. Police think that that same man had been seen earlier in the day flicking a switchblade open and closed. 53 year old Robert Albert Morton was taken into custody for brandishing a firearm in a threatening manner. Deputies searched his home and seized a pellet handgun that matched the description of the weapon that was pointed at construction workers. Morton was released after agreeing to show up in court.
