Man Arrested After He Crashes His Car
|
|
A drunk driver goes off the road and flips his car. 30 year old Paul Goforth was driving on Highway 101 late Tuesday night when it happened. He started going towards the Broadway off ramp, but instead of curving right with the road, Goforth kept going straight. This took him off the roadway. He lost control of his car, over-turning it, throwing Goforth and his passenger, 49 year old Daniel Haase, from the car. Neither of them were wearing seatbelts. Goforth suffered from moderate injuries, but Haase broke his neck and was admitted to Marian Medical Center. Goforth was determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and was charged for DUI after he was treated for his injuries. Before the crash, a 911 caller had reported his 2003 Hyundi because he was driving recklessly in the San Luis Obispo area. |
