Grover Beach, CA -- The Grover Beach man of accused of carjacking then kidnapping a Cal Poly student nearly two years ago is scheduled in court this morning. Ryan Soqui is due in court for a readiness hearing. Police say in November 2009, he got into a student's car on the Cal Poly campus, pointed a gun at her, and told her to drive to an ATM. She managed to escape when they got to an ATM. Soqui has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. His trial is scheduled for September 20.
